He is full of energy, loves to move, and wants to discover the world – ideally together with his people.At the shelter, Bowie shows himself as an active and cheerful dog who loves to play and pays close attention to everything going on around him. He shares his kennel easily with other dogs and has already lived with several companions. But every time a friendship has started to grow, his friend has been adopted – and Bowie was left behind once again. It feels as if each time he’s hoping: Maybe next time it will be my turn. He gets along well with other dogs in the play area and shows a friendly, social nature. On the leash, he sometimes wants to show off a little and can be a bit exuberant – a behaviour that can be easily guided with clear leadership and positive training. He learns quickly and wants to please, which makes him a very grateful student. Bowie is not a fearful dog – on the contrary, he approaches new things with curiosity and enthusiasm, sometimes a bit too boldly, but always with joy and heart. He needs people who can give him security, set clear boundaries, and work with him lovingly and patiently.
